The latest underpass in Budapest. Designed by Gábor Turányi in line with the architectural traditions of the city’s underpasses but using modern materials, it was opened in 2003. Its walls, which are still clean, are covered by mosaic tiles and limestone, the floors are made of polished black granite. The underpass is part of a long-term project, the construction of Budapest’s fourth metro line.
